I'm not sure I agree with the cause - times are tough for many people. But nice to see a colourful union banner outside New Scotland Yard.

A reminder that it's the Durham Miners' Gala on Saturday. Now just a pale shadow of days gone by when it was the highlight of the year for the "aristocracy" of the Labour Movement.
