Black Country Weekend

Yes, it's the first Black Country Weekend (and Black Country Day on Monday). There are lots of events on - I spent the morning at the BCLM, and then moved next door to the new Dudley Archive building, where I was fortunate enough to catch Ian Henery (Poet Laureate of Walsall), reading some of his poems which feature in the new book 'Wildfire through Staffordshire', which describes early train journeys. Ian was also performing at the BCLM today.
