Out on the town!

...With Jean and a few others. Dinner at Akademia Smaku on Obozna - fizzy wine water throughout. Maurice, Jean's Husband, is also off the sauce for January, so I wasn't alone and our resolve was quite remarkable, considering the company we were in. We moved onto a bar afterwards - maybe 11ish, and it was -20 as we walked the few hundred metres, taking short breaths and huddling together for warmth as we went. I don't remember it being this cold, or rather I don't recall being outside, if it was this cold in Moscow last year. They say it's the harshest (is that a word?) winter in Poland for years, in terms of how long it's lasting, but on the up-side, Spring will be all the more beautiful for it. So they say.
