Sunshine on Leith

Sorry about the title but it had to be. The sun shone brightly on Leith today. Just a stones through from Edinburgh we are spending a few nights here as Mike has a meeting Monday afternoon so we thought we would make the most of it.

We have wandered along the waterfront and not far from the hotel the Club Med ii is berthed. It seems quite funny as I had seen it on a few blips this week and I was nt very complementary about her and there she is is full view !

Had a roast dinner in a waterfront restaurant at The Shore in Leith. It was busy with people out enjoying the sunshine and sitting on seats outside on the pavement.

There were several interesting pieces of artwork around some by Antony Gormley. I may have to go in search of more tomorrow !

Going to watch the footie now, we have pringles, peanuts and a free drink each as we had to wait for our room to be ready, it was only 2 o clock so we did nt expect it to be ready anyway :)
