Just makes me smile

This little light catcher hangs in my kitchen for the past 9 years. It reminds me of my Gramma, who died almost 4 years ago. She used to sing (maybe hum?) "You Are My Sunshine." And I sang it to my babies over and over to get them to sleep. I imagine she sang that song to many babies. 14 of her own and 26 or so grandchildren!! That's a lot of singing.

My dear sweet Ben told me when he was like four years old that he thought the words were "You are my Son Shine, my only Son Shine!" A song just for him! My only son!
