Wine-tasting in Faugères

Each year the village of Faugères holds an event to showcase its AOC wines. The narrow streets are filled with stalls run by winemakers and, as long as you have purchased a commemorative glass for a mere 3 euros, you can taste as many of the wines as you like.

Here are blippers BrodieB, DC and Juggsy along with three other friends, all trying the delicious wines of Alix and Catherine Roque from Domaine Clovallon and Mas d'Alezon.

This evening we went to our pal Florence's birthday drinks. Her lovely husband dropped us a secret e-mail to let us know it was her 50th birthday. It was only as their children put the numbers 5 and 1 on her cake that he realised he'd got her age wrong. Whoops!
