The Birds

Back to work with a bang today. Spent the afternoon cutting 30 odd acres of grass for hay (if the weather plays ball ). It always amazes me how when ever you go to mow or plough the birds suddenly appear from nowhere. This lot spent hours following up and down, picking up everything from voles and mice to wee rabbits and pheasants. There was also a buzzard,but he never stayed still long enough to get a photo. Finished by 8pm,in time to catch the football. Hardly worth watching though.
