A Day At A Time.

Festival Of The Full Moon

It is a big thing in Sabinillas. We went for a looksee and found the little town absolutely mobbed with people. This little fellow was part of a display of several beautiful owls in part of the market stalls and general goings-on down by the promenade.

At midnight, dozens of lanterns are released into the night sky and drift gradually upwards. We were along the coast a short way in Duquesa, having had some dinner, as they they floated overhead.

Then came the fireworks.

And the parties. Till the not-so-early hours.

Fortunately all was surprisingly quiet at home, when we eventually fell into bed after one o'clock.
