Las cascadas de Giron

Road trip with the students to a little town in the countryside outside of Cuenca.

The falls of Giron. Grand vistas of alpine meadows dotted with dairy cows and the faint sound of Friday afternoon Kumbia music drifting up from far below. Watching the mist swirl in from the valley and dipping into the cold dripping waters cascading down from the highlands. Respiration of moisture and life dripping down like so many droplets from the ferns and mosses.

A truly magical place.
