Glad We're Back

The problem for the birds and mainly the Sparrows when we are off the Island for a few days is that they don't get fed. It was quite marked this morning that there were not as many about waiting to be fed at the normal time.

This, I think juvenile, House Sparrow came into land on the willow and waited for a full 10 minutes for me to fill up the bird feeder and then as if out of nowhere all the rest of his buddies arrived as if we had never been away.

I also think it helps that the neighbours cat is away on 3 weeks holiday!!
