Down the Danube III

Linz, industrial town on the Danube. Prosperous, grand, and we absolutely feel that we are in the middle of Europe.

Started the day with a beautiful descent from the top of yesterday's ghastly hill! Rolling hills and fields - really lovely.

Onward down the Danube, crossing to the north bank at a dam with lock system - very interesting. Then lunch in Ottesheim - we all ate too much then dragged our achy bums and legs back onto the bikes and on to Linz - ice creams, cathedral and dinner up a mountain!
