Highly Unsprung

Drenched fruits and Book Making

Sam and I taking shelter from the torrential downpour under the pines and eating strawberries washed by the rain. This was half way through our big walk round Gight Castle and the Scottish wildlife Trust reserve where we hadn't at that point found any treasure in the devils cauldron or seen any squirrels but we had done battle with 20 billion flies and tried not to get jumpy when we heard gun shots and screams up ahead. I know how very lucky I am to have a wee lad that will go out walking miles in the middle of nowhere in the sun and rain with his old mum.

Back home and nipped down to the village to learn how to make a book, a real book, moi, a crafting imbecile managed to make a book. I'm halfway finished, made the hardback cover, paper to be made and sown in next time.
