Why a duck?
I had picked out the subject of my blip early today. my eye had been caught by these ferns and rose bay willowherbs, (maybe there's a couple of buddleia on the right?) growing out of the old railway viaduct wall at work.
I was waiting for the afternoon light to swing round and make the greens glow against the red stone.
It's amazing that I had assumed the sunlight was going to last all day. You can get used to decent weather quite quickly!
A very interesting skeleton to look at this afternoon, though. Probably confirms my suspicions that one area of the cemetery was set aside for the monks' charity cases... looks like he was a leper.
