Stockholm

We headed for Nynashamn last night and were tendered ashore for our trip to Stockholm today. B stayed at “home” as he has developed a cold and cough and is under the weather :0(

A visit to see the Town Hall, the venue of the annual Nobel Prize banquet, then on to see round the Royal Palace which is the “working” palace, not the residence of the Swedish Royal Family. After lunch we visited the Vasa Museum to see the ship that spent 300 years on the bottom of Stockholm harbour, having sunk on its maiden voyage… a design problem!!!

A day at sea tomorrow and no alarm to respond too!!!
