After the rain
It's hard to type with a bandaid on your finger let alone two. Texting is impossible. I don't know but I may have caused an international incident on a text earlier. It appears to have corrected itself.
I have a cut on each thumb. A monster paper cut on one and well, let's just say.......it was sharper than I thought. I wish I could do the fancy knife moves. You know the fast chop chop chop chop chop. It's pretty clear now knife skills are not my forte. It's ok. Bandaids are cheap when you buy the largest size box. That seems to work the best for me.
Members of my chorus rehearsed for our big week in Illinois. I can't wait. 32 women from Portland Maine flying to Chicago. I hope they are ready for us. These flowers were on the way into the rehearsal tonight. All I had was my phone. I so wanted to do a macro.
This evening was one of the loudest and scariest thunder and lightning storms ever. The cats were scared and hid under my bed. More paint peeled off the house ( being painted when we get back). It's funny how things change when you get older. When I was young I loved thunder storms.
Now not so much!
Rain fell and fell and fell.
I seem to be repeating myself tonight. Time for bed.
Goodnight and g'day to my friends down under!
