Mono Monday tree or bad hair day
This was the first photo I took today.
Turns out it's the one I related to the most. More often than not.....my hair can look like this.
Oh and yes I know the lens had a fingerprint on it. Actually two. I didn't notice them at the time. My glasses are worse. I have to go clean them. Just a sec....
Ok I am back. Now you have heard me whine about my hair before. It is very fine and I can't do anything with it except make it look like crap. My hairdresser does a fabulous job and for a week I am stunning. I think if I was one of those people who took a lot of time in the morning curling my hair and applying lots of makeup, it would be ok. Yeah I am not.
So when I saw this tree it struck a familiar chord with me......my hair.
On another note,
Today I went to the renal (kidney) doctor with my dad. He is doing great. The little medical assistant ( bit of a low talker) tried to talk with Dad. It was fun to watch. He didn't get one word. He did smile nicely. She then took his blood pressure with an automatic cuff. I advised that they do not work on him and his systolic was going to read over 200. She smiled because what would I know? I mean really, I must have an iq of a peanut ......and hey what do you know? I was correct. Before she almost passed out , I asked her to please take a manual pressure ( involving a stethoscope and a manual cuff) she said she didn't know how to take one.
I let that sink in. Seriously? Seriously I asked. You can't take a manual bp? She said no.
So when the PA came in I told him that they had a problem. I explained. He looked at me and said seriously? So he took it.
Anyway his BP was fine.
When I am queen this crap will change.
My husband saw a strand of pearls in the National Geographic this afternoon and asked if I would like something like that. I looked at him and said I would rather have a new dishwasher and dehumidifier. I think mine has died.
Oh how the mighty have fallen...........
I am going to pack it in early tonight and so I will say sweet dreams to the north and good morning sunshine to my friends down under.
Thanks to Gingernan for hosting this one!!
