Lego fun

I had my nephew today so I took him to a Lego building event at the local toy shop. He made a submarine in the free building part. It was so crowded that he missed out on the speed tower building challenge but he got a chance to design a minifigure so he's in the draw to win a big Lego set if he wins that.
The rest of the day was challenging. I was adamant not to fill time with tv or iPad so tried to keep him occupied with art and crafts and Lego at home. We got there eventually but there was lots of 'I'm bored' going on throughout the day.
We have another whole day to get through tomorrow. I fell asleep on the couch about 1pm today. I'm a little worried but there is always the tv last resort if necessary.
