R's fingerless gloves

I started knitting a pair of fingerless gloves for R. I'm using wool given to me by our friend Ryan (who is also our wedding officiant). His aunt raises sheep and spins the wool . . . so he brought me three skeins last summer. R wanted something to keep his hands warm on the way to the beach in the morning, so this yarn seemed perfect for the project. I hope to finish these by his birthday on the 10th of February.
