Outwood Mill revisited
I first blipped this windmill at Outwood, Surrey on 28 September 2012, it was very sorry sight then having sustained a lot of damage in the bad weather we had that year. It was built in 1665 around the time of the Great Plague and it is said that you could see London, some 25 miles away, burning in the Fire of London.
Today its sails have been restored and it looks good in the evening sunshine. It's also up for sale so if you have a cool £1,000,000 this lovely piece of history could be all yours!
