Tea on the roof

I was determined to get up on the roof - and get a Blip - while the scaffolding is up. Unfortunately I found out that I can't do ladders; I can do heights, I can do drops, but I can't do ladders. So I had to find another way of getting up. By squeezing through Sal's window on the top floor and contorting myself around the poles, tiles, bags of debris and wobbly planks I could get up on to the highest point of the house without encountering any rungs.

The children, meanwhile, are shinning up ladders, spinning round poles and doing things they shouldn't, just because they can.

Tom and Grace had tea on the roof.
