Brewing

The day has just got warmer and warmer until it has broken tonight. No thunder and lightning but colourful skies and a full rainbow over the fields and the houses at the back. We ended up being out on the field at the hottest part of the day today with the drama of an actual fire rather than our usual practice of aerosols being sprayed or overheating irons in tech. It was all contained to one desk in Science with no one hurt but it could have been so much worse having been caused by a leak from a fractured gas pipe being lit. So it was 45+ minutes out in the sun with over a thousand students who were actually very patient.

Lots of things still to do at the end of the day so I wasn't in the mood to go shopping for puppy things at the end of it. I think I might have come away with too many random items. A catch up phone call tonight on lots of news and just two more days to go.
