Wednesday: Goran and Marc

A little fuzzy, I'm afraid, but it seems that my portraits still need an awful lot of work.

Today was one of those days that threw up several blip opportunities.  The evening started with a farewell for my Greek colleague who is moving back to Athens.  From there, I went across town (not that far, in reality) to attend an event celebrating the fact that Croatia introduced legislation allowing for same-sex partnerships yesterday.

On the right is Marc and the chap on the left is Goran.  Goran was on the drafting committee for the legislation and had a real hand in bringing it to fruition so he should be very pleased with himself.

An event like this in London would bring out a huge crowd - sadly tonight it was a little meagre and mainly the same activists that you see at these events.  Nevertheless, they were all in a celebratory mood so that is all that matters in the end.
