Thursday: Les Belgiques

It's the season for national days at the moment - everyone is trying to get their event in before Zagreb empties out for the summer.  Mind you, it's already heading that way - parking is a dream at the moment.

Tonight it was the turn of the Belgians.  The lady giving the speech is the Belgian Ambassador - she is lovely.  I remember going to a meeting she was at on my very first day here and she couldn't have been more welcoming.  The chap on the left is the Mayor of Zagreb.  

Anyway, definitely a diary shot today - but we are off to the coast tomorrow so that might provide more exciting material.

Edit: Arclight is quite right in pointing out that my French is un peux up the creek......
