Classic Yacht Racing

Racing during the annual Cowes Classic Yacht Regatta.

From small beginnings this regatta is now an important week in the Classic Yacht calendar.

Each morning there is racing coinciding with the High Tide which brings these beautiful craft close to the spectators along the esplanade.

I much prefer these shapely yachts to the acres of plastic seen during Cowes Week.
