Avoiding the Crowds

Before the heat of the day kicked in a short walk brought me to my favourite morning coffee stop in the beach pavilion at Osborne House followed by an hour in one of these deck chairs which I parked under the shade of the trees.

The staff in the pavilion said the weekend had been exceptionally busy whereas today there were just a few of people on the beach. A big advantage of retirement is that we can avoid the holiday and weekend crowds and do our thing during the quiet times of the week.

It sure beats going out to work. :-))
