The Photographic Benefits of Housework

Despite it being the hottest day of the year (so far) I decided to do all my ironing and housework today.

However, (probably like most people), I find household chores rather dull and so when I dusted this old glass dish on my dressing table and moved it out the way, I noticed that it was standing in a pool of sunlight looking rather pretty. So, of course I had to go and find my camera (any distraction gratefully received!).

I'm happy to report that I did get it all done in the end, had a shower and I'm now sitting in my clean and tidy lounge, feeling rather virtuous!
