at least the washing stays dry

the village is still flooded from the snow. this is nothing unusual - it did this last year too and i took the very same photo back then - which means we have been here for just over a year.

the flood closes the lower road, such that it should be called rower road. it washes into these gardens and into the field beyond. all around new lakes have arrived after the snow. it is pretty and when you walk along the raised ways its a bit like living in Lincolnshire, or at flag fen, and it makes the birds happy with their new wetland habitat.

be nice that would. to be living at flag fen in a round house. shiny.
