North East Aberdeenshire

Some of my great great grandparents are from Cairnbulg, Inverallochy and Fraserburgh. My great great Grandma was known as "The Belle o the Broch", pity it got diluted a few generations down but its picked up again with my kids ( I'm their mum, i would say that).

My predecessors knew a good thing, this area on a summers day is beautiful. Sam, Tess and I joined the ranger for rockpooling at St Combs, crabs, baby plaice, hermit crabs and loads more exotic stuff that made 2 hours seem like 10 minutes.

Lunch at the Lighthouse museum then unplanned stop at Fraserburgh beach because it looked so good. Sam went into the sea with all his clothes on. Pants ahoy all the way home.
