Wires crossed

Living in the countryside does not always mean that beauty is all around you.
Looking at tonight's sunset over the village hall, I decided to leave in all the power and telephone lines rather than duck my lens through them!
One of these days, we might get them put underground!?
We did not have any storms last night, only sheet lightening around midnight, and the ground was dry this morning.
So my weather App was wrong!
Tonight we are forecast to have rain too, so we'll just wait and see!
We had a wonderful afternoon visiting my old school to say goodbye to a colleague of mine who is retiring today, but I missed all the blipping opportunities because I was too busy talking to so many lovely people there!
