A Chemistry Set for a Chemist

Well, this is the amazing present from my son and his fiancée that I mentioned on Saturday.

It's a set of what I think are going to be spectacular experiments to be performed with some water-soluble polymers. This is not at all the sort of chemistry with which I have been involved over 45 years in Oxford, although its true that I had been closely associated with polymer studies in the preceding years in Maidenhead, Harrogate and Liverpool.

The experiments are described as:

Water-gel experiment
Jelly Marbles
Insta-snow to order
Polymer spike
Water cubes
Colo(u)rful growing Oro Spheres
