A Fried Chip

Just a single fried chip

For some reason, @ViolaMaths DVD/VCR machine does not work!

Just one fried chip has given it indigestion. Now, major spare-part surgery is needed. The surgeon cannot find donors with the right qualities. Maybe the offending piece will have to be given a by-pass.

This chip is called a TOP. TOP is about right: the top of this chip (which has blown off, as you will note) was found about 15 cm away, buried under another part of the body. It must have made quite a 'poof!' (un mot français) when it went.

(The owner of this machine has many other of her DVD players in a similar condition that are at the same A & E. What has she been watching that heats them up so much?)
