A Sub-tropical Winter

While the UK has been enjoying some summer weather, here in sub-tropical Queensland it was only 5C this morning - it's 'winter' here of course on the other side of the planet. Winter doesn't last long here but can be surprisingly sharp. Everyone was well wrapped up today in hats, gloves and jackets.

I was happy to grab 'pole position' at this park cafe near its giant wood burning stove while downing a mug of Cappuccino.
