Where's my ladder?

I don't know why he's looking so small and lost - his old ladder up onto the greenhouse roof is still there, and tomorrow, there should be a new one leading onto the garage roof, so that I can finish destroying the greenhouse. It is, it seems, absolutely essential that he can climb onto the greenhouse and garage roofs. apparently it's the only place you can sleep in this weather. In his younger days, he would happily shimmy up the corner post of the greenhouse, but now he has to have a ladder.
