Deep Dark Water

17.7C and dull with some showers. Light breeze.

Maeve the Deerhound and I went through to Arbroath and managed to get a walk round the harbour before the first of the rain showers came. The tide was in and the harbour markers were showing 5 metres of water. With no sun it was deep dark water.

Maeve and I had a short walk after lunch between the showers.

The weather at the Open golf has been better than expected and play was completed n good time and mostly in the dry. There was some wonderful golf to watch.
