Nature's bouquet

Travelled to York to try out a Park Run.

This is a free 5km run held nationwide. The atmosphere was friendly and it attracted 230 participants including children and dogs running with their owners. Vicky a fellow club member came to our aid to describe how the event worked. Really enjoyed the experience.

This afternoon we took Jet for a walk on the moors. I spotted this unusual flower and liked the grasses growing round it.

We ended up soaked to the skin due to heavy showers which our jackets repelled but swimming through head high bracken ensured the water seeped upwards! Jet as usual just bounded over the heather which is just coming into bud.
