Privacy concerns ...

As an Australian, I find it such an alarming concept that a 'private beach' even exists. On this beach in Maine, there is a lot of signage declaring that access to this part of the beach is purely for the residents ... limiting enjoyment of this natural asset to those who have acquired beachfront properties through family ties or generous amounts of wealth.
