Today I have been "working from home"..........yeah......right!

A lie in.......a lazy morning with the Boss...........and a steroid injection this afternoon.

The doc was very good........he explained all about the injection........and how much it would swell........and how much it would hurt........and how long for..........and how long it would be effective for..........and when I could have the next one......if needed.

This evening we have had our friend Therese round...... and D and V......to celebrate T's retirement............she taught both the S & H and the Daughter as 4 year olds.........we had a nice supper..........and lots of booze......D and V staggered home.......... and we poured T into a taxi.

The knee was painful........but not too bad............mind you the doc said tomorrow would be the worst day.

Hp.s. the Daughter made the cup cakes........they spell out Happy Retirement........but we spelled lots of other words under the influence of alcohol.
