Wave

The air is thick today. For a week now temperatures have been in the high 20's or even low 30's and when you move the air feels thick. The heat does drain you.

There is a strange sweet smell in town pervading today as the fumes find it hard to rise in such warm temperatures.

Last night the clouds gathered again at sunset threatening another storm that didn't materialise.

The sunlight today though has been one of the most direct and powerful that I have felt anywhere - you can feel it burning you as soon as you stand in direct sunlight. Beautiful.
