Misty
I'm not sure how to fix this but yesterday's back blip is on for today so this is today's back blip for yesterday. Following?!
It's really misty today but still around 17C. I got up in time to attend the 10am at the village church. They were most welcoming and it was a good service. The vicar even touched on the huge question of why does a loving God allow evil in the world he created. Quite unexpected. Part of the answer, of course, is free will. Anyway, this is the Zeebrugge window in the church of Saint Margaret of Antioch, dedicated to three villagers who lost their lives in the ferry disaster. I'm guessing they were crew of some sort but I don't know.
The organist was a young woman who was most impressive and played beautifully. Afterwards, she approached me and I found that she has just finished a PhD in a music at Emmanuel College Cambridge. I was right to have been impressed! She immediately offered to help my niece navigate her way through the application process as P wants to reads music at Cambridge. What a lovely young woman!
I then drove S and A back to their wedding venue (a country pile) for their follow up barbecue and am now enjoying a late and most relaxing Sunday lunch in a golf club on a flat, wild and shingly beach outside Sandwich. I wish I could say I was eating a sandwich in Sandwich but I'm not!
I won't get another chance to blip later so this is an early one....
