Fluff

Arrived at Soissons again this afternoon after a very warm but grey morning. The forecast for tonight is for storms with hailstones and gusty winds so hatches will be battened down as soon as it starts.
Last night we enjoyed a lantern lit parade through the village, release of lanterns into the night sky and a wonderful firework display (70 photos plus video!). All free and such a happy atmosphere with people of all ages from a few days to ....... Old age, and several different nationalities taking part. A night to remember.
This fluffy thistle has somehow managed to grow on this well kept caravan site and perhaps it is unkind to blip it in preference to the many beautiful flowers all around us but the texture is so fine and soft. I doubt if it will be there after the forecast storm!
