Ludlow in Shropshire
We spent the weekend away in Ludlow. A late birthday treat for Lesley and lovely meal to celebrate our Silver Wedding.
We stayed and ate at "Mr Underhills" (highly recommended for a treat) it is the large house in the centre of the photo and our room was those lovely top floor windows in the red roof,
It had poured of rain all the way there but eased in the afternoon when we arrived in the lovely old town. We had time for a good walk around and browse in the market (a haven for foodies) and visit to the castle before the storms hit again. At around 6 o'clock it stopped suddenly and the sun came out. I rushed to take this photo from the bridge then we sat in the gardens for pre dinner drinks in the warm evening sun watching a fly fisherman make a catch before enjoying a lovely meal.
