a blue flash

yes a small blue flash but definitely not the one I was cooped up in a tiny lashed together hide for !!  I had gone to a good spot for kingfisher, near regularly used perches and waited for 4 hours but nothing showed up. Oh well, that's nature for you.

This weekend has been crammed with activity;  golf, lunch out, canal walk, visit to brothers and plenty of hours sitting, looking and waiting and NOT seeing badger, fox or kingfisher.
