Glam

Abu Dhabi airport - my first glimpse of the Middle East, en route to Colombo... Flying with Etihad- Worlds Best Airline 2009, and so far it's been great, relaxed, complimentary bar- much to our surprise! And.... Super glam arrivals hall! I practiced my best Arabic, trying to find our departure gate but was setback by a) being tired b) a very strong g&t after dinner and c) being slightly grumpy that the inflight entertainment system had shut down for landing, so I did not see the end of NCIS! (though the Haagen Dazs did placate me). It's fabulously warm, though I'm still in my Edinburgh winter clothes... Time for an outfit change before our flight to Sri Lanka, yaay!
