The start of our family summer holiday to a caravan site near Dornoch. It was meant to be somewhere 'local' with respect to Edinburgh but I think I might have underestimated the distances. And the lack of passing opportunities on the A9.

We eventually arrived in one piece with two non-grumpy children. Unlike the adults. Who, despite the recent acquisition of a Sat-Nav system for the car still ended up having heated debates regarding driving instructions. If anything, the additional voice from the Sat-Nav resulted in even more confusion and arguments regarding the correct route. Maybe we should have done more testing beforehand.
