Broccoli and rain....

It rained so hard last night, and was so cold... Woke up sort of expecting to see snow on the ground , as it was forecast possibly. But there was none... We have continued to have a freezing day with icy hail and rain. I meant to get out to pick my broccoli yesterday before the rain , it is looking perfect and woke up with my first thought being... 'Hope the icy rain hasn't ruined my broccoli '... Strange thing to think of first thing ! Anyway I gave picked it now..4 big pieces ,all fine !
