Shoes

Little Mr walk a lots got his first pair of shoes today!

He's been toddling around by himself more and more, taking more steps from here to there. He came down the hallway all by himself today so I figured he needed some shoes to take a little walk outside. And as you can see has discovered new parts of the house now he's upright.

Sorry for the absence the last 2 days i spent Sunday cleaning and getting stuff ready for the boys first day back at school yesterday. They both were not happy( and I mean wild with tears and anger, tantrums galore) to be going but today they were fine. The timetable for this term seems pretty busy for both boys, they are going to be tired at the end of this.

I started my weight loss plan yesterday - the new me. I need to get back in shape and strengthen my muscles so I don't hurt my back again.

I found a group on YouTube who do workout videos so I did one. I am soooo unfit haha today my muscles hurt! I also started eating better following a plan i used a couple of years back, eating every 3 hours to increase metabolism, eating more protein and less carbs, increasing water intake and cutting out sugar.

I have had a lot of intestinal problems since I was little. I'm lactose intolerant ( i used to throw up everywhere after any dairy when I was younger) and i have Ibs. So if i have milk, cream or ice cream i get intense pain, cramps and bloated so much my stomach distends and i look 6 months pregnant. It's pretty much immediate.

For yoghurt and cheese i can tolerate these but only a serving of each a day and i have to take a pro biotic otherwise I just feel ill all day. The Ibs affects me if I'm stressed i find i can't tolerate dairy at all and anything bread like, pasta, etc. When i was a teenager suffering through severe anxiety, depression and panic attacks i had constant stomach problems, i had to have the pure aloe Vera juice stuff which is horrid I can only think of it tasting like wet cardboard smells.

But yesterday there was no pain there was none of it. So I'm really pleased i think i needed this change for my intestinal health as well as my general health.

I do have to be careful though as sudden change in diet and exercise can alter my breast milk.

Had a productive day though despite the ice cold rain. I went to the toy library, got groceries, picked up Kanyes nappies, dropped books off. Harper has just been miserable all day. He didn't start it very well, he was asleep in our bed having a sleep in because it's hard waking a lot in the night. I went to check on him then came out drank the last bit of my tea and i heard a thump then a cry. He had fallen off, not at all injured but still very much asleep and got a fright which makes me wonder if he was shifting around to get comfy and just fell off. He cheered up quickly though and ate some toast before we left poor poppet.
