Phlox

Managed to get home in time to catch some of the lovely sunshine and warmth. After a day of meetings and planning in the office it was a welcome break.

Caught up with our daughter who with friends was at the dress rehearsal last night of the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games. She enjoyed it very much: it was entertaining and had some"good touches". Otherwise sworn to secrecy.

As she got back at 2am this morning I only caught up with the news tonight.

As we sat in the garden the low rays of the sun highlighted the colours of the phlox. The perfume can be a bit intense indoors, but outdoors is fine.
