'A Gift'............!

Of these beautiful Hydrangeas this evening from one of my Mams carers....
And when she brought them in they were completely drooped from the heat in the car......but we put them in warm water and look at they way they came back...
They really are unusual ......the centre dark red one is gorgeous and the light pinks are almost wax-like....totally unlike the regular pink ones I have......!
Apologies for the 'dreadful' photo of them.....awful light and I put them in several places trying to get a decent shot...but gave up ...should have taken it earlier in daylight.....!
but...my hubby took the day off and we were doing things around the house...he bought paint and started to paint the windowsills etc....
and boy what a day we had.....have never felt heat like it before!!!!
It was dull some of the time but the sun was scorching when it came out......!
Had my respite 2 weeks confirmed today.....so we have that to look forward to now!!!
