More Scottish seashore

Who knew Scotland rivaled Northern California and / or the Caribbean when it came to lovely beaches (okay, not for warm water, if that's what you're after). We went looking for a Pictish cave today on a stretch of beach near Covesea. After many misadventures we found the site and enjoyed the caves, though sadly not THE cave with the door, the site of sacrifices and whatnot. Paul and Wilson are shown here waiting for me, one of them more exasperated than the other. I was looking at rocks (shown on Tuesday's post).

We leave Dyke tomorrow for the last week of our trip. We have enjoyed this wwoofing week very much.
