Notebook style!

Packed my bag and checked out of the hostel. Waited at the train station for a good hour or more before catching the train to Broadmeadow and then from there to Quirindi. Waited 10 minutes before Michelle came to pick me up. Most unfriendly person ever. She didn't ask me anything about myself or how the journey was or anything. Very bizarre. We drove to Spring Ridge where the pub is. She showed me to my room and then said 'just come down whenever you want'. My room is absolutely disgusting. Good room for a murder scene. I had to find sheets to make up my own bed. Actually made it look quite nice as I put scarfs over the furniture and then cut up a cool bag I had and stuck it onto the wardrobe. Spoke to the lovely girl Jess who has been working here since Wednesday. Went down to the bar at 5.30 to help out. I met Michelle's gay son Nathan and his partner Karl and her lesbian daughter who were all pretty much the same as Michelle...unfriendly and bloody rude. There was one customer in the pub who told me how to pour a pint which is apparently like a 'hand-job'! He was so pissed. Jess was lovely and showed me how to do everything. Michelle just left without saying bye or anything. They had a log fire in the pub which was so nice as it was absolutely freezing. Jess and I cooked pizza for supper and ate in the pub whilst listening to stories about all the 'fucking useless backpackers'. Their favourite word is definitely 'fuck'!! Sat in Jess's room and we watched game of thrones on her laptop. She told me so many stories about Michelle. Apparently she completely flipped out on some backpackers once and they ran to to their rooms and bolted the door and then called the police. The police apparently rang Michelle and she just said that she had flipped out and the police left it. We don't have the story from the backpackers viewpoint! Had a rubbish sleep that night as the room is so weird and airy and my light flickers which is really creepy. Feels like a ghost hotel. Even scarier is the fact that it is only Jess and I that stay in the hotel and anyone could easily come into our rooms. Apparently no one ever stays in the hotel...I can see why!
